Based on the level of agreement found the wave forecasts were then modified slightly and used to estimate the mean annual and seasonal (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) theoretical wave energy resource around Ireland. Autumn Hydro Energy in MegaWatt Hours off the Irish coastline in Electricity generation potential as calculated by the ESBI Pelamis model for the Irish Wave Energy Resource Atlas 2005. Autumn refers to the months of September, October and November.
